ganzin is a reference to Victor Ganzin who is credited with the hybridization of the axr1 rootstock. while the blend changes with each year, our commitment to quality remains consistent. this year's blend contains 86% cabernet sauvignon, 8% malbec and 6% merlot.
on the rim: deep shiny black olive with fuchsia and purple
on the nose: beautiful balance between fruit such as plum and blueberry reduction with bacon, cedar, cooking spices, fern, lilac and clay
on the palate: silky entrance evolving on a round mid-palate with granular tannins, lingering on fruit like cherry and boysenberry with freshly picked currant and raspberry syrup
