ganzin is a reference to Victor Ganzin who is credited with the hybridization of the axr1 rootstock. while the blend changes with each year, our commitment to quality remains consistent. this year's blend contains 68% cabernet sauvignon, 24% merlot and 8% malbec.
on the rim: deep, shiny ruby red with touches of ballet slippers and Ferrari red
on the nose: beautiful expression of spices with espelette pepper, lingering on oven-baked sweet orange bell peppers, graphite, sundried tomatoes and griotte cherry
on the palate: soft, velvety entrance evolving on a dense blue fruit mid-palate and gliding to a fresh finish with touches of black currant, fresh blueberry and plum
