axr ganzin chardonnay 2022
Ganzin is a reference to Victor Ganzin who is credited with the hybridization of the AxR1 rootstock. The axr rootstock was the origin of the research which gave vintners an understanding of the influence of a rootstock on wine and a vines capacity to adapt to the soil. Paying homage to traditional winemaking with a modern twist, our 2022 vintage is 100% barrel fermented and is aged in 25% new French oak to respect the fragile profile of the Burgundy clones that we use.
